Matt Lucich is a San Francisco native who began drumming at the age of ten.  His professional career began in his early twenties when he joined the original band Viv.  In two years time, the band played over four-hundred shows, nationally, and released highly praised records “VIV" and “Flawed.”

After this rewarding time with Viv, Matt turned his focus onto session work and teaching private lessons.  Never one to turn down an opportunity, Matt has taken part in countless live and studio performances. He has had the pleasure of working with many Bay Area artists including, Luce, Miggs, Eion Harrington, Sila and the Afro Funk Experience, Megan Slankard, Samantha Stollenwerk, Essence, Bonfire Madigan, Joel Streeter, American Radio and many, others.

In 2006, Matt recorded with Queensryche, toured with European blues guitar player Ana Popovic and joined industrial rock band Snake River Conspiracy.

Matt is currently touring with Pat Monahan (Train) and recording records throughout the Bay Area and LA.
